What is Co-Living ?
Co living refers to a residential living model, where individual tenants have joint access to common areas, and exclusive access to their own room.
Each tenant is on an individual lease and pays a bond. This provides an advantage to the property owner allowing higher rent than if they had leased the property in whole to single tenant. There is also the ability for the owner to mitigate their tenancy risk, as there are three or more individual tenancies.
This distribution of tenancies reduces the likelihood that the property will never produce income.
